Minggu-minggu ini saya dipusingkan dengan streaming di radio FM yang sering putus nyambung. Apa karena bandwidth punya vendor secara keseluruhan sudah penuh penggunaannya ya ? Saya memang mengambil speedy paket gold secara SHARED dari penyedia hotspot. Lalu saya konsultasikan ke vendor, dan yang terjadi adalah karena bandwidth yang saya pakai sendiri memang full. Hal ini disebabkan karena saya membagi bandwidth wifi saya untuk warga sekitar radio sebagai CSR (corporate social responsibility).
Ketika penggunaan bandwidth wifi untuk warga penuh, maka streaming radio yang menggunakan bandwidth upload pun ngadat pula… Sering RTO.
Sebenarnya bisa diatur bandwidthnya menggunakan mikrotik groove. Tapi untuk sementara saya pakai pengaturan bandwidth bawaan TP-Link, dan puji Tuhan langsung waras 🙂
Bisa kan ngatur bandwidth wifi lewat settingan di TP Link ? Gampang banget kok. Lain kali kalau sempet kita bahas di blog ini ya.
Oke, sekarang kita akan bahas mengenai mikrotik. Orang-orang yang menggantungkan hidupnya pada internet seperti saya wajib mengerti tentang pengaturan bandwidth. Dan yang paling umum dan gampang digunakan untuk manajemen bandwidth adalah MIKROTIK.
